Re: Fuel quick connects

Very nice. About the time I think I am out of mod projects, one like this pops up. I especially like the idea of getting rid of the quick disconnects and using a more direct connection. Thanks

Re: Fuel quick connects

Stephen, the three way valve is a great idea. Did you mount the valve back by the motor?

Re: Are These Boats Good Enough To Last?

4 Years and VERY happy.

I get tired of VIRTUAL DING DONGS trying to grind an axe and start arguments. MAC is a great boat for what it was intended to do. Will it win a trans-atlantic race? No. Does it supoort family fun and versisility? You bet it does. It is a good boat.

Re: Life expectancy of a sail?

I have a 2004 M and my factory jib (uncovered/unprotected) is brittle and cracking. My original main is protected and is in very good shape. When I bought the boat, the dealer recommended against the extra cost of protecting the jib so I did not. I wish I had spent the extra money to put a leading e...

Ouch. I would hope that Rhapsody is worth more than that. We have not used the "Kitchen" but we did crap a few times in the Porta-Pottie.

I would hope Rhapsody is worth a few more dollars than that.

We are heading down to Dallas tomorrow to go greet the arrival of Grand Son #2. While down there we plan on stopping by West Marine and investing in bottom paint. If someone wants to become a millionaire, figure out how to formulate an inexpensive bottom paint formula. Anyway, it will be cool to see...

A close call is when a tornado rolls through Kansas and misses your marina and wipes out 50 boats in the marina across the lake. Been there... done it.

No doubt, the problems in California have been horrendous. I cannot imagine. What I cannot imagine are the psychos who are setting fires.

Way to go Ray and THE Admiral. There are lots of postings on this board about prop sizes, hull speeds due to paint color and other subjects. Nothing is more important than family. 33 years is a super accomplishment. So if we were to email the Admiral, what would she say about how she kept you in lin...

Wow. You would not need ablative bottom paint with 140 horse. You could open it up and end up with a bottom that was slick as a whistle.

I am in awe of Jack Sparrow. If he would accept $200 a week with room and board, I would fly him into my town to fix my Mac up.
