Another Mac 22 owner here....we have had some awesome memories in the last two years with her. She's an 84 and was absolutely virgin when I got her and from what I have learned and seen. Besides being sailed of course. No additions to her nothing taken away. Original cushions(they were always stored), sails, wood and I think even the bottom paint. We have never been on a day sail on her, always spent a night or 3. We learned how to sail on her which I have found out is never perfected and because of our inexperience have discovered that the hull is tougher then what most people think and dang near impossible to turtle when we have broched in 35mph gusts in our Oklahoma lakes (more then once). I have often thought about going bigger but we like the simplicity and ease in towing to be so much of an incentive to keep her longer. Sail on my venture friends!
