Re: CS-50 Coupler Q&A

Thanks Phil,
That definitely looks like the better place to go. Least of which is being able to see the tech stuff.

Much appreciated,
cheers,
Rick

CS-50 Coupler Q&A

Ahoy All, Misleading header, as all I have is questions - hoping you have the answers. My '06 Mac26 trailer is in need of a new coupler. The short of it is someone T-boned the trailer while it was parked, unhitched. The coupler is slightly bent with some internal misalignment. Just encountered diffi...

Re: Your opinions for potential owner.

Hello Matrixra, As one who is into year two of the Mac experience (the only boating experience I have so far) here is my two cent's worth. The Mac is a compromise, as some of the members have expressed already. That is an accolade not a slight. I think that makes it valuable to a neophyte - powering...

2 x 12 gals. here, fill up on the way to the Marina in the spring. 5 months on the water over the season and still have enough to run the snow blower for the 6 months of winter.
your mileage may vary.
batteries not included.

Happy New Year!

Inventory of Lines. . . ???? Geez, did I ever misread this thread title.

I was all ready with:
"My slip or yours?"
"Ever been to sea, Billly-Jean"
"If anything's gonna happen, it'll be out there."

- sorry, but it's been a great day on the water.
Cheers all,
Rick

hey USAF guy, I'm on your side. The topping lift is a nice convenient place for some colour, without adding more rigging to the Mac. Since other "sailors" [read: non Mac owners] have some pretty strong opinions about our ilk, is it really an issue to break with tradition (again) and run up...

M26 Rotating Mast -

Issue: The "self-rotating" mast on our :macm: frequently does not rotate, particularly in light winds. Research: Discussions on lubricant, Teflon washer replacement and other methods were found in this and other forums. Talking with other :macm: owners produced varied approaches including ...

hey gang, ok, the stanchion abeam the mast doesn't work either, fouls up the genoa lines :x . I may just trash the racks - couple more trials to go. Ah Slave Lake, been over it a bazzillion times, always at 1,000 plus feet; it's intriguing to think about actually taking to the water. . . btw, the on...

Lake Wabamun & Slave Lake

From the quarterdeck of :macm: "Skye", Marina at Lake Wabamun. Ok, a month of great sailing and no major disasters. wahooo! In addition to our fine instructor and Patrick O'Brian, you folks have helped immensely with our steep learning curve. Learning as we go, some salient thoughts: 1. Do...
