Assuming that you don't want to get wet

the most common approach is to drop the CB on the trailer. The hanger bolt is accessed thru the forward dinette seat, just atop the CB trunk. The hanger is securely attached with 5200 adhesive, so various methods are used to break it free (sledge hammer, chemicals, or prying it free from the bottom w/a 2x4). This drops the forward CB to the ground, permitting the aft board to clear the trailer bunks. You can use the old line to pull a new one through the compression post to the cabintop.
