I think blood on your sails adds character to any boat.I'd cut a finger on god knows what, didn't notice it, and now I've got blood all over my main to boot.

Not exactly a sailing song, but someone who has purchased and outfitted a boat might relate to this..........

Re: M or x from bare or salvaged hull
I have also been attracted to the Seaward 26RK. The boat appears to be substantially built and I like the many features found on the exterior. Considerably more expensive than the Mac. However, I still think the Mac wins for interior design. I have climbed aboard at a couple of boat shows and someho...

Re: 26 M falls off trailer
Not to long ago there was a posting here about the necessity to tie down the boat when trailering. A few people had a cavalier attitude on the subject with the notion that the weight of the boat was sufficient to keep it in place.
Enough said!

Re: M or x from bare or salvaged hull
Interesting reading guys, but I think I will leave my M boat just the way Roger designed it. I would rather spend my time sailing with a Margarita in my hand while listening to Jimmy Buffet. I don't have the ambition that you fellows appear to have, nor do I have the marine engineering training that...

Re: how to deal with blue speckles in M non skid?
The blue hull and the white deck are manufactured separately and joined during assembly. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong, but all of the anti-skid surface is on the deck section. Aggressive power washing or buffing cannot reveal blue beneath the gel-coat on horizontal deck surfaces because ...

Re: Minor repair. Was it from dealer or factory
I think customers need to be a little bit flexible in these situations. Everybody expects a new boat to be in pristine condition when it is received, but you need to consider that it is manufactured in California and in many cases must travel thousands of miles to reach its destination. As they say,...

Chris,
Just wanted to thank you for sharing your information on the new trailer.
Your original objective was to receive an answer to your question and I am surprised that an answer has not come forth yet. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the older Macs.

It appears that the boat will sit just as low as on the MacGregor trailer. Do you agree?

I just looked at the LoadRite Elite catalog and I like what I see. If I am not being too personal, can I ask you for a ballpark figure of the cost? I plan on upgrading in the future and would like to know for budget purposes. I assume that the bunks need to be adjusted for your boat. Is that somethi...

I think Interlux should put Clint Eastwood's picture on their cans of barrier coat.
