Re: Trailer connectors
guess I got too much money then. I do like the fact that the connectors are water proof and my vehicle side won't suffer any corrosion. I'm also super lazy so I doubt I will spray T9 very often. However thanks for the advice about the T9. I ordered some just in case. Just glad to see there are optio...

Trailer connectors
I'm sure most of you are suffering from poor conntectivity from your trailer connectors. Those cheap 5 pin connectors rust and are useless after maybe 2 or 3 months of use. Well I decided to do something about it and I just discovered ezconnectors! I ordered the S7-05 female socket (part number S7-0...

26M dodger
I've been freezing my butt off the last few seasons and I just discovered dodgers. If anyone has them installed can you tell me how they are secured to the boat. Are they easily removable? And if so are they easy to setup? Second, wide or normal? How much more coverage does the wide give you? Is it ...

Re: 26 m price
$18k without trailer, $20k with trailer. Assuming good motor and mostly stock condition. I've never seen it lower then 18k so if you can get it for 18k with trailer I think that would be a good starting point. That also assumes the sails are still in working state.

Re: hydraulic systems
Seatrials complete. The autopilot is awesome! You set a course and it holds. With a hydraulic system you don't even hear it. I was pusing 4-5ft swells with a period of 5 seconds with direct head winds of 15mph gusting to 23 and the boat did not miss a beat. No s-curving, nothing. Just held steady. J...

Re: Sold my 50, buying the Etec90
I just called regarding installation of a ETEC90 and the guy said he won't install anything above the rated maximum for the boat which happens to be a 50hp. I mentioned macgregor26m so I think others have called also. My question is how do you upgrade if nobody is willing to do it? And if I have an ...

Re: hydraulic systems
Can't remember why I didn't get rid of the link bar. I may have to revisit that. But as far as the motor is concerned, there is no water in that area. Plus I can't figure out where else to put it. Does anyone have examples ? I don't want to punch any holes thru the hull. But as far as play goes, the...

Re: hydraulic systems
Just an update. Installed the Raymarine EV100 autopilot. Seatrials will happen as soon as weather permits. The installation for the rudder feedback was pretty easy. The whole install took 2 days. The ev-100 can run in openloop mode where it just estimates time it takes to move the rudder to steer th...

free 26M steering assembly
I have the original 26M cable and steering hub assembly. Its just 2 pieces, the cable attached to the sliding rack, and the part that attaches to the steering wheel. Its was working just fine when I pulled it and its free to anyone who wants to it. You just gotta pay for shipping. Or you can pick up...

Leisure Furl coastal system
Wondering if anyone here has installed a Leisure Furl coastal system. I am getting quotes for install now. I'd like to know your experience with it? How difficult is it to take apart for trailering, etc. Hows the sailing performance? And can you reef the sails from the cockpit?

Re: Walmart Marine-Maxx Batteries
have you used a hydrometer to measure your battery? That will tell you the condition of your battery.
