The main discussion page has a separate forum for "Website News." Browse through the topics in there. One of them, "How-to's," explains BBC notation, which is an HTML-like command language. That thread includes a link to this BBC Tutorial page.
Posting a photo only works if it's already on a website someplace. You simply post its URL. For example, I have this Suunto (#116) compass on my port cabin bulkhead, but mine is white. The Suunto website has many choices in Marine Compasses, but it seems they're not widely distributed here in the USA.

HINT: It's best to link to photos that are VGA resolution (640x480) or smaller. Right-click any photo on the web to see the properties page of that image. (For example, resolution of this compass pic is 200x213.)
HINT: If you're ever curious about how somebody has posted an image or a URL, you can press the "Quote" button, as if you wanted to post a Reply. Then you'll see, within his quote, the exact BBC notation that created the feature. You can always use the "back button" to abandon your reply.
HINT: If you ever post something in error, you can change or delete your own post. As author, you should see two extra buttons near the "Quote button." They are an "Edit button" and an "X button," permitting you to change or delete your own post. After someone posts a following post, the "X button" disappears.
P.S. I noticed in this recent mods photo that Johann (from Sweden) has a white Suunto compass similar to the one that I installed on my Mac. I believe Johann's compass is model #95.
