PNW Shows: Seattle & Vancouver

Post by Shane »

Any PNW'ers making plans yet? The Seattle Show is 1/25 -2/3, and the Vancouver Show is 2/7-2/11. They've now re-inflated the collapsed roof of BC Place (Vancouver site), so it should go on as scheduled.

I'm heading down to Seattle for Friday (1/26) looking to get hands on with electronics, and it looks like Seattle is going to have a lot more than Vancouver. If anyone else is doing the same and wants to rendezvous, BWY might an obvious spot.

Don't know what day for Vancouver, but will aim for that one also.

Regards,
Shane

I have to figure out a plan of attack yet. I'll start at the floating show as it opens earlier than QWest, but I'm not really planning at spending much time looking at big rigs and twin diesels. That's as far as I've gotten, but imagine most of my time will be spent over at the field, finding ways to through more $ into the hole I've already started :?

Shane, several members or the MYCBC "MacGregor Yacht Club of BC" are heading down to the Seattle Boat show on Sat. 27th. Meeting at the White Rock park&ride then carpooling down. If you could wait a day you would be welcome to come along.

We will be at the Vancouver Boat show in the MacGregor booth promoting the club so drop by.

Although the local dealer does a great job of supporting the club but we are not directly linked and several of our members have purchased their boats from various dealers.

If you are interested send me a pm.

Nauti,

Thanks for the heads up on the 27th; I'd like to take you up on the offer, but have other commitements on the Saturday, so will have to take a pass :(. I will make a point of stopping in at Gerry's stall in Vancouver and hope to see you there.

Duane,

I imagine I'll be at QW from around 14:00 onward, so as your sched takes shape, let me know if you want to coordinate somewhere.

Cheers,
Shane
