On the serious side; the difference between a ketch & yawl is the location of the mizzen mast. Ketch is in front of the rudder post (you are trying to ketch it) and yawl is behind (south end of the boat, yawl).

Also, the mizzen mast is taller and the sail larger in the ketch than in the yawl.

I just remember that 'k' comes before and 'y' comes after.

"I wanted to make the world's fastest yawl, so I made the aft sail bigger, but apparently that means it's not a yawl anymore! It's a real ketch-22."

¿What's your opinion about this one?
It looks like it would do quite well running but I have doubts about it's ability to sail close hauled.
Idunno… if a sail is a wing then there might be the possibility to sail close hauled…
Although holding on to the mast (Handle? Shaft?) might prove problematic…
Gotta give them at least style and creativity points!
Who knows, they might be on to something!
Thanks JottaErre!
Looks like fun!
