Approaching remains of Francis Scott Key Bridge

As we approached Baltimore, my wife started snapping away with her phone

After passing what was left of the bridge, we came upon Fort McHenry; made famous by Francis Scott Key. And the flag was still there.

Long may it wave! Good to see you and she are having a nice trip.

Are you sailing, or mostly motoring, Ray?

Mostly motoring.

The distances between stops are as much as 41.6 miles (67km), and always against the wind dadnabit :!: Even with a good wind, it would take hours , and the bay has been rough (white caps, at times two foot seas) , making for wet rides, but I have a real sailor for a crew👍.

Last night it rained like the dickens. Huge gusts rocking our ultimate waterbed. Zzzzzzz.

Boating people are really friendly people, and we are meeting a lot of them.
