Boom Pin
The mast gets pinned a the base to the base plate. Mine is a bolt with nuts (threaded). Looking to switch to a easier release such as a smooth pin with a ring in the end. Wondering if anyone has done such? If so any suggestions?

Re: Boom Pin
Youre sort of asking 2 different questions. Not sure if u want the pin for the boom or the mast base. My advice applies to 26X.
I use this for attaching my boom to my mast and thd front of my main sail to the boom so I have 2.

If you want a pin to connect the mast to the mastplate/deck of the boat you need this.

Ive dond both. Great upgrades for 20bucks. Might want a spare.
