Sail blog article - couple from landlocked west circumnaviga
There's a good article in today's SAIL blog about a couple, new to sailing, who trailer/sail their Mac around the U.S.
It should give us confidence we all can do the same.

In the second paragraph of the story, a couple from Washintom State is mentioned. That couple is Mike & Sandy (Chinook). The same couple who just finished their year long trip of the Great Loop. The first Mac to do so. There are now two others doing it.

NiceAft correction this are not Mike and Sandy.
Mike and Sandy's boat is named appropriately "Chinook", not like the boat shown in SAIL magazine.
Nice people, I met them while they passed by here in SW-Florida.
But the piece in SAIL is still great, inspiring reading.

You may have misunderstood me. I apologize for the lack of clarity.
In the story, these people were inspired by a couple from Washington State who went to the Bahama's in a Mac. I meant that Mike and Sandy were that couple, not the couple which the article was about. Unless there is more than one couple from Washington State who went to the Bahama's on a Mac

RayThen we read a blog by a couple in Washington state who had a MacGregor sailboat that they were trailering across the country and to the Bahamas.
