Visiting Seattle weekend of 10/4-5/2014 - Anyone Sailing?

Post by windypatrick »

I am doing two weeks in Seattle for my employer (one guess - starts with a B) and I will be at loose ends on the 4th and 5th of October 2014. Anyone sailing? I have no clue as to whether your season is over or not. I am basically a puddle pirate from Phoenix and being closer to a real ocean other than my landlocked life would be so fine to see. I have a 26X myself. To make matters worse I will be in St. Louis, MO for 6 months right after...I'll be looking for other similarly inclined puddle pirates there.

I suggest you drop on by Blue Water Yachts, at their dealership on Lake Union. The friendly folks there enjoy visits. You'll be tempted by the array of parts and accessories they carry. And, you might persuade Ray Corwin to take you out for a test sail on their demo boat. Ray's always looking for an excuse to get out on the water. October days on the Sound can be lovely. Enjoy your visit.
