Does anyone have a picture of this mounted? They say it mounts outside the rudder and I'd like to see how that is done.
Thanks!

Mine is a 2001 X from BWY and the ladder is mounted "outside" the rudder.

Re: BWY swim ladder for 26X
I had to trip one of the legs so that both feet made contact at the same time. I put it in a position to where it was level and as low and outboard as possible. I wanted to be sure the rudder wouldn't hit it in case I left it down. It doesn't look like the outboard food makes contact but it does.
Idiot me drilled the holes to be able to use bolts with nuts on the inside for extra strength. Next time I'll make sure I can access the back side before drilling. I couldn't find any larder screws to fit the oversize holes so I used SS lag bolts.

Thanks guys. Just curious, it seems to me that since the captain's chair swings open to port side, wouldn't it make more sense to mount this on starboard side? Am I missing something about that?
