I just found a Mac with all my dream mods!

Post by robbarnes1965 »

Stumbled upon this one. Definitely out of my current and foreseable budget but Wow!

I have browsed Macs of all types for years now and fantasized about the 65's but always found them surprisingly cheap looking for the budget leap. This one is different. Leave it to Germans to get it right! I love the bathroom with FULL BATHTUB!

The 'coffin shaped' passageways are a wee bit disturbing....

The <= 26 Macs were the best boats MacGregor made. I've never been impressed with the 65' class boats. I guess if you want a fast offshore racer, it's a great boat. If I'm buying a 65' boat, it better have more room and nicer amenities.

Out of all the 65's I've seen, this one looks the nicest. It actually has wood inside. Blue hull of course.
Bathtubs on boats don't make a lot of sense. Where ya gonna get the water? My friend had a small one on his Hunter 42. Cute, but useless.

Name of my boat is (HOT TUB). It's a Tub in the water that goes fast under power and can beach so I can have the HUGE hot tub around me for swiming. :)
I also like it's sailing performance.

Hot Tub.. looks more like a skinny bath-tub.. I doubt anyone over 160 lbs would fit.. I`ll bet its main purpose is for a lot of beer and a lot of ice.

That is one beautiful boat..

If they would have actually built them like that I'm sure they would still be in production. That is a nice boat... I like the changes on the inside as well as the outside, but I'm sticking with my 26 :)
