In previous threads we have discussed options and need for a traveler. To my surprise, I noticed the M has incorporated this into its new design. I wonder if we could get some feedback from those owning M's on this traveler and mainsheet setup- location, purchase angle, quality of build, etc.
Thanks, Jeff.

Yours is a Mast 28, right? Just one opinion, I think there are only 3 choices (only two are practical) for the 26X, and I think that's pretty close to the same for you.
- 1. Across the doghouse, just fore of the winches.
Pros: A terrific swinging arc.
Cons: stanchion interference, needs gonzo track to span the cabin, blocks deck access, poor leverage so it may require a stronger boom section. (Murv Barry and Tony have done this mod and avoided some of my Cons ... ).
2. Removable, spanning seats at the pedestal.
Pros: great leverage, great swing-arc, moderate track span, lowest cost.
Cons: blocks the cockpit, requires quick release system.
3. Atop a Hunteresque arch.
Pros: clear decks and cockpit, terrific aft-boom leverage.
Cons: requires an expensive, heavy-duty arch and recutting the mainsail to rise above the arch.
