By jove, I think you've got it! Actually, I think that was the route the OP used to run an extension cord (!) to power the starboard side of the boat. It was a nice, heavy, expensive cord, and it was laying in water in the various bilges (!). I was trying to remember where it was run when I pulled it out, but age is getting the better of me these days.
I may try that route for a nylon hose. I really
don't want to add another tank ($$), and certainly not a water bag, on the off chance someone may want to rinse their digits in the head basin. Nobody has yet even used the PP, so I may not bother even making the hand-pump faucet work at all.
