This was the scene last September at Rhode River on Chesapeake Bay, near Annapolis. Mike and Sandy Cecka aboard Chinook, from Washington State, hanging out with Rick Westlake, on Bossa Nova, and friend (can't recall the name - is it Jim?). Sorry for taking so long to post this. Better late than not at all. Fond memories of a good time on the water. For local Puget Sound area Macs, I'll be doing a slide show of our cruise on the Chesapeake at the BWY Rendezvous in Port Orchard at the end of June. Drop on by and get a taste of what sailing's like on the East Coast.
That was a great visit, Mike, and a great "gam" that evening. I'm so glad you came out to "our coast".
"Uncle Jim" (his board name) and his wife Clarissa were on the third boat. I'm sorry that I don't remember their last name, myself. The weather turned kinda sloppy, but we had a great visit aboard Chinook that evening. (I do remember that Uncle Jim's anchor dragged, and you took him back to re-set it; the next morning, his transom was just about right over my anchor!)

Sounds like a great time. We will be right where you all were in two weeks. On the Rhode River sailing around Annapolis for the Holiday moored watching the Blue Angels fly by. Look for the faster Blue Hull (Sully's Escape). see ya mate
Hi Mike,
Rick is correct it's Jim and Clarissa, Jones is the last name, and if anyone wants to make a joke about the Rev, beware, I make a mean glass of KOOL ADE
Have not had much time to work on the boat this year as I've been busy with family health issues. Hope to get the washed up this weekend and maybe get it back over to Casa Rio and show off that shinny new alumninum trailer.
And Rick,I don't think I'll be dragging an anchor again. Pick up a genuine CQR, picked it up for a great price.
