Interior pics... I'd say Elvis bought it.

If I had an extra $250k that would not be the boat I'd buy. I guess if I used it as a day sailor for sailing and racing. As a 70' cruiser, not so much. I mean it has an "ice box". A 70 foot boat with an ice box. That VCR will come in handy to store the winch handle.

That price would get about six new Mac-Ms, or about 15 - 16 good used Mac Xs.
Or, how about five new Mac-Ms, and one new tow vehicle.
Or, how about one new Mac-M, one tow vehicle, and an RV, along with a new home, and some furniture.
Or, how about one new Mac-M, and keeping about $210,000. in your collection of Certificates of Deposit.

I listen to Dave Ramsey too much. :D

That electronics contraption on the pedestal looks like something from a 60s James Bond movie. Ice box & VCR... yeah, suppose on par with the overall theme. All that aside, still an amazing sailing yacht. Don't think you can touch a 70 footer for half that price.

I just noticed that "the head for the forward stateroom. " looks like port a poti. Image For $250k though it is a great value. Seems like Rodger really "pimped" it out. :D

:D Heyyyy...a point I cant agree with, there are no "bad" wimmens. Just fast, faster, and fastest for quick, quicker, and quickest mens. ITs a "fast" boat.

Kevin, you, I, and most other old salts dont understand all this 'no more, since we're older, slow, and dont see and hear too well anymore.

You know you're old, and over the hill, when you have to ask: "whatzzz 'up with all the color red"?? :D :D

No one is to be offended, okay, just because its the truth. :D :D

Just messin' with you guys...

Yeah...this is not outfitted for cruising. It's a fast race boat with a porta potty for when the urge calls.

We have chosen to reflect the modern interiors of the best custom jetliners and exotic European power boats, rather than the traditional, heavily wooded or rough fiberglass interiors of conventional sailboats
Yea, we know you don't like wood.

That wood stuff is so tacky.

ahh............johnie........

can I ask ya for a loan..........heheheheheh
250K is a little north of my financial ability while I am looking for work.

besides.......The admiral is becoming more attached to her teak and holley.......

interesting how the flash makes the two settees different colors.......they are actually the same.

I am also not sure she would accept the porta potty on the 70 even our X has electric toilets with lectra san. taking away those simple conveniences would not be appreciated. And i would not be able to afford to do much work on it if I paid 250. However, if each of you wrote to roger....... and pleaded on my behalf, maybe he might take my X and H40 as a simple trade, while knowing that anthem was going to a good home.....and I would take good care of her, since I would be living alone and my admiral would have left for better cruising elsewhere.

The only 65 mac interior she has ever shown any interest in is the Beautiful Phoenix which used to be on lake washington. IF you ever get a chance to view her, Mr M has taken very good care of her, and redone the interior with what I feel is a great wood treatment. I have seen no other 65 in person or in photos which can match her interior mods.

So, I am not looking to hard for a newer boat right now. I probably could not afford the rigid dink to tend her.
