My 25 hp Suzuki 4 stroke on my 2001 MacGregor 26x won't idle when warm. I have new spark plugs, new fuel, I set my idle higher (it idles fine when first warm, but not after running the engine for longer than say 15 minutes), cleaned carbs.
Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks for the help.

It sounds like a classic dirty carb...Im guessing the low speed circuit is plugged. From your description Im guessing the motor works at first since it is choked, and the engine is getting a richer mixture, once the chokes open you go lean and it stalls and wont restart. Did you take the carbs apart to clean or just run some cleaner into them?
Solution is to
1 Buy the Sunday NYT, and take your carbs apart and clean on the dining room table...dont do this without a manual
B Pay a marine mechanic 150 USD an hour to clean it and return it to you in the same condition you gave it to her/him
(iii) A nice 25 HP TLDI engine isnt that expensive....
