That was me. Sorry I've been away from the board for so long. Been busy with work and such.Captain Steve wrote:I too use the walk on method . I tie a lie from one of the uprights, around the winch post and back to the other upright at the rear of the trailer. This gives me a V shaped fence to guide me in and on the trailer. The technique works quite well, but you have to remember to take it SLOW. Don't build up more speed than you're willing to hit the winch post with.
I'm looking forward to sailing season this year. Hopefully I'll also be able to get back to this board more often.
