I have come to the conclusion that the Mac 26M will be my next boat. I currently have a 2455 Bayliner and store it in a 12X30 storage unit by the lake. My 2455 is over 26' feet in length with the swim platform. The outdrive(which has to be all the way down) is an inch from the back wall and the toungue of the trailer is about a 1/2 inch from the inside of the door. YUP it couldn't be any closer than that.
Will a Mac fit? Do they offer a swing toungue trailer?
Thanks

Oh crap! I forgot about the mast. How long is that?
32 ft on the diagonal( Remove the mast)....the mast will fit, and at a slight angle, I believe the trailer might..... who has their cad system on.........???
Can you just put an addition on the storage shed. A few sheets of plywood, and some screws. I store my Mac under my 24` deck. The front sticks out, I just placed a large tarp ovet the mast to protect the front and trailor tongue.
I do, but I don't have a 3D model only a side view. That shows 30 ft exactly, tip of the trailer tongue to the trailing edge of the rudders. Another 6" to the rear edge of the prop on my Tohatsu 50D, motor down. Turn it as far diagonally as you can and it may fit, but my guess is no.
Nope. Storage place is a rental. Its a very substantial structure with 20 units in it. It does have very very high ceilings so maybe the mast would fit at an angle.
Do any of the Mac trailers have a swinging tongue?
No swinging tongue on any stock Mac trailer, and none on any Mac trailer I've ever seen. I guess it could be done, but you're pretty much on your own. Looks like if properly done you could gain about 39" max.
