(mast hound, Ronstan light duty block hanger, boom bail, Duct tape & baling wire? ) I am in Las Vegas so there are not many place's to shop for sailing gear. Also is there any differance in how high above top of forestay i mount it. One more Question.. Where can i purchase new window's mine are faded??? My Boat is a 1989 26D "Femme Fatale"

epennewell,
I see you're in Vegas.
We are having "Mead Madness" April 27 through May 5.
A great group of people from around the southwest. We meet there and have a week long cruise.
We'll be at Callville until sometime that Sunday (29th), then cruise the lake. We beach most nights in a quiet cove, but do stay over at Echo Bay and Temple bar, where there are showers, food and supplies.
We normally stay at Sandy Point (up in the Greg Basin) on turnaround night. We used to go clear up to the mouth of the Grand Canyon, but water levels don't allow this any more.
It's a great trip. Come join us for the day, the weekend or the whole week.
We've had as many as 22 boats and as few as 5 or 6. The more the better.
No real rules or guidelines, just some people sailing in the same direction and chillin' .
We do have an unofficial race Saturday morning. (the 28th) Only rules are don't hit another's boat and no fair using your outboard
Don't know if you've seen much of Mead or not, but if you come for the week, be sure to bring your camera
There are things to see you'll want pics of. (like sailing through a canyon with 500 ft cliffs on both sides of you).
You can contact Captain Kimo (find him on this site) for more details.
I too own a 26D (1987). I'm in So. Cal. and looking forward to coming up to my favorite sailing grounds once again.
Hope to see you there.
Best Breezes to you and yours,
Steve K.
