A real stupid question:
(first up, remember I am an idiot when it comes to computers...an absolute idiot)
When down loading this video, when I got to the 34min mark, the whole thing stopped dead, including my mouse.
Only way I could get out of it was to turn the machine OFF.
Took a while to get everything up and running again (ie e-mail etc).
A while back comment was made about downloading at 56mb or something.
Is there something I am missing.
Is there something I should do.
Couldn't find anything on the screen that said 56
I can't see on the 'black' video screen thing'ie anywhere that says 'save'
but did find 'Burn'
I only have a CD burner. Do i burn to that.
I apologiese for asking stupid question.
If anyone has any simple answers, please remember I am a simple chap.
Cheers

eric3a
thanks for that......learnt something new.....it worked perfectly.

If I wanted to copy it to a disc, can I just burn it to a CD or do I need a DVD?
(I don't have a DVD burner on my computer, if there is such a thingie, just a CD burner).

That is an excellant Video.
Covers everything a prospective owner would want to know, and does so very clearly. Can't be critical of it being a promo, as it presents appropriate facts.
I hate adds that use partly dressed blonde dummies drinking wine, laying back catching the rays, with the wind blowing thru their hair, and pretending to like the 'cool' dudes accompanying them. Just so opposite to what we are and do. Good on Mac...he has identified his market and aimed straight for it.

Do they have others covering detailed unloading, basic sailing etc, that can be downloaded like this?
Do they have one on the 26M??

Thank you Kevin for putting it up.
Cheers

X not M

Post by Erik Hardtle »

Oh you don't want that M thing with the 6 foot brake in the middle.... :o that "brakes" the first time you hit something... hehe
:|

I think the M video is a carbon copy of the X video... swap the boat of course... hehe

Shorter smaller file size of video

Post by Steve »

Here's a link to my "old" website (still up) and a short Mac promo video. It's only about 12 megabytes total size. Much smaller than the 125 meg file linked above.

Here's the link:
