They had it full down, but I couldn't say if it was parallel or past parallel with the wedge.
I would think that it is safe to say that there is no way to achieve the same angle by adjusting the motor mount. BWY has installed many hundreds of Suzuki motors on Macs (as well as Nissans and Tohatsu's). They are very proficient at putting motors on these boats. If there was a way to get the needed angle without the wedge they would have done it.

beene,
Even mounted on a plumb transom, the motor pivot is aft of the transom plane. I think that means full down-trim would show the outboard angling slightly under the hull. The standard T-H wedge adds 5 degrees of trim. If I had to guess, I'd say my dealer's custom wedge is a bit more than that, but probably not as much as 10 degrees. I think other fabricators might offer a range of static angles. It's not unheard of for guys to include a double wedge, but I don't know how that would work on a Mac.
Mine is a 2000 26X ... completely clueless about a 26M. As DD wrote above, you might phone BWY and ask what brand of wedge they use on new Suzuki installations.

OK guys, this what I am looking at....

So, as you can see, every picture looks like the back of a bass boat, 20deg toe in angle. I bought my OB used from iboats, and it was on the back of a bass boat. So I guess it was set using pin pointed out in the diag to avoid too much trim in position. So if I was to mount it the way it is right now, even with a wedge, it would still be 15 deg away from the transom. I think the fact that it came set up for a bass boat explains why I was confused about the trim angle and use of wedges. But thanks to your help, and info from BWY, I think I know what I need to do to get the most out of my OB.
Cheers
