Bill - you will find discussion on the earlier boats including the 19 on the Venture Board here
THis is a smaller group than the 'main board' here so it is kosher to post an issue over her for thoughts, which will then get moved to the Venture board once the thread spins out, for future reference....

I thought it was decided a long time ago that since the MacGregor 19 is a powersailor, discussion about it belonged in the Powersailor Discussion, leaving the MacGregor/Venture forum to the real sailboats.
But since the original poster is looking for information on a 19 INCH MacGregor, maybe it should be in the Scale-Model subforum.

Sorry about that
Never being on this page before and not knowing the rules I did not realize this was for TRUE SAILERS only.
I always though sailers were sailers but can see I can delete this forum from my favorites.

Hi Bill...I agree with you, I always thought this message board was for sailors that owned or were going to own a Mac. I dont think the rudeness that was expressed to the gentleman with the 19 was warrented nor called for. I feel he asked a lagitimate question about the 19, and we as mac sailors and owners should give freely of our knowledge, and not be so quick to chastise. I'll get off my soapbox now

Come'on, guys... I know Moe and Stephen, and I'm sure it was all in fun and no harm or insult was intended.
Steve was merely noting a houskeeping issue with regards to where to place the topic in order to get the proper exposure and Moe and Steve then did a bit of poking-fun. Lighten up folks!
And Bill Van, you're certainly welcome here - the 19 is a lovely boat and as much a part of the Mac family as any X or M.
