trailable ?
I wonder if this sea-phuket is trailable. It's light enough

I'm not so sure that Phuket is light enough for trailering (2,650 kg or close to 6,000 pounds), but it's definitely too wide, since the beam is 4.65 meters ... about 15 feet! I've never seen a boat before with that sort of beam-to-length ratio, about 47% (30% for the 26X). Ballast includes a bulbed daggerboard (2,200 lbs.) PLUS MOVABLE water ballast!!
But with that degree of width (form stability), I'm not sure why they need so much ballast. Strange boat ... quite a rocket sled! The price is about $100,000, delivered in Thailand.

Oops ... Terry, looks like we had same thoughts at the same time!

Beamy
Talk about a wide glide, that Phuket is beamy at 15 feet 3 inches for a 33 foot boat. I kinda like beamy boats though, especially while enduring my skinny Mac, imagine the room on that beast. $97,000 USD is not a terribly bad price for a boat that size, just have to investigate the quality issues in Thailand. When I win the Lotto I will have to look at the beamier models, but for now thin is in & I'll have to accept that boat as it's name sounds.

Phuket 10
Lets all try to guess who is in the process of working a deal to order a Phuket 10 kit, complete and ready for assembly (less engine(s), rigging & sails) out of Australia, to be shipped to Sri Lanka for the build. And no, that does not mean Zeno's Arrow is for sale (yet). MM

Colombia 30
It looks like a modern Hobie 33 setup. It no doubt is a nice sportboat and the claims of competition with only 2 knock-downs.
(One on the Whites and One on the Spinaker)
Note: The Launch would take the Better part of a Day and leaves me with the impression it is on the extreme end of the Trailerable Boat list. Nice Looking, Great Performer, Expensive Price at $131,250.00 regular price. Options include an large headed huge roach main of no doubt expensive composite material, and the small diesel saildrive and deep retractable bulb keel prevent this boat from being called a shoal or powersailor. Nice Boat for a performance sailboat market.

Colombia 30 sportboat
Nice Boat, How Much with Performance Options

Waternwaves placed the Phuket 10 with: looks like more room than those condomarans.
This innovative ultra wide boat looks amazing but is certainly not a shoal sailor or Trailer Boat. Its a long way from economical powersailor. Nice looking design.
I can only wonder what the Tax and Value Added Tax make the bottom line?
Delivery within the Kingdom of Thailand
All Registration Fees and Local Taxes, where appropriate.
Excluded: Options or modifications
Delivery outside the Kingdom of Thailand
VAT (Value Added Tax), if appropriate

PS Louis, Ill get my xmas stocking up early!

The Phuket's cabin layout seems strange to me. The head & forward cabin are a single compartment - not terrible, since the vberth is likely to be used only for sail stowage. But, that 1,000 kilo board and bulb is retractable, so it requires a trunk up the center of the cabin. Their drawings seem to gloss-over this dilemma .... OTOH, considering its profile, bet it can make 12 knots under sail OR motoring!
