I bought mine from CD cruising direct. These are made in the North sails shop for the cruising (nonracing) market.
They make great sails.
http://www.cruisingdirect.com/
There is also a measurement guide on the site.
They are very helpful if you have a question.
I think there are a few other sites like Airforce sails that get mentioned a lot also.
You could also check the buttons to the left on this site. there might be some links to other sail lofts.

On 12/20, www.minneysyachtsurplus.com showed 10 used Mac headsails (jib or genoa) (1 25, 9 26 or 26X) from $95 to $395 with hanks and a few roller furling headsails as well. Site briefly indicates condition.
I have never bot from these folks, so have no idea whether doing so would be delight or disaster.
However, if anybody has dealt with them, please let us know the result, as some of the prices as are way below new, and I would be a bit tempted to try the $95 (probably pretty beat) hank-on 25x24x16 genny on my X as an alternative to my much lighter weight 200 sq ft nylon drifter, which looks a little fragile at above 10 mph windspeeds.
All advice gratefully received.

Some thoughts
Some things to think about when ordering your sail.
It's been several years since I've been in New Caledonia, but unless the customs department has changed in the last few years I have an idea of what you will be dealing with to get your sail.
I suggest you go with cruising direct, only because Northsails has facilities that can provide assistance if need be in Australia & Port Mossby. Additionally, because they operate in over 100 countries they tend to not mess up international shipments as often as someone who may be sending something out to Noumea for the first time. Plus, if anything does go wrong they can back their product up much better/faster than most others.
You do need to weight this against the fact that I work for Northsails in Sri Lanka and have something of a skewed view of sending sails to places like N.C. Cheers and good luck whatever way you go, Maddmike

I bought a used headsail from Minney's by mailorder. When I opened the package, the sail's condition matched their description. But installed on the boat, the fit just wasn't quite right. Phoned them to discuss it and they said, "Sorry, no problem, just ship it back."ronacarme wrote:On 12/20, www.minneysyachtsurplus.com showed 10 used Mac headsails ... They credited my card immediately. I doubt an international shipment could go so well, and I can't guarantee anything more than my own short story, but I had an excellent experience dealing with
Minney's Yacht Surplus!

I purchased a 150 genoa from www.minneysyachtsurplus.com last month. It was a hank on. It was brand new-- Doyle-- and less than $300.00. Fast shipping too.
