Mounting Chart Plotter

Hey folks, those of you who have mounted a chartplotter in your Ventures or MacGregors I would love to see where and how you mounted them. Please share some pics for me, as I am getting ready to mount one (as well as getting ready to rewire whole boat )on our Macgregor 22 and trying to figure out a good spot.

I mounted mine on the top of the pedestal. The base of the plotter was larger than the top of the pedestal so I mounted a piece of 3/4" plywood on the pedestal first.

No pics right now. I recently installed an autopilot and I'm having to rework the mounting area to accommodate the additional display.

What pedestal are you referring to?

The 26X has a large fiberglass pedestal for the steering wheel and motor controls.
