Shake down trip with our other powersailor...

We were crossing our fingers the warm front would blow in a week early to coincide with our four day rodeo holiday break here in Tucson, but alas, it's going to arrive a few days too late. It's still freezing at night up at Lake Powell where our 26x is stored so we won't be taking her out to install the newly arrived replacement furling luff, new mainsail, lithium battery,... etc.

So instead we're taking our original powersailor out for the first time since buying the Mac, our 15' Sea Eagle kayak with sail kit and electric fin motor. Going to head out to some canyon lakes we haven't been to before, maybe Arivaca and Pena Blanca, will pass through some gold rush towns along the way.

Thanks! We've taken her across Kealakekua Bay, the Puget Sound, and along the Cote d-Azur, looking forward to using her as the Mac's tender on our canyon cruises and eventually the Pacific coast. Stopped by a landmark on the the way to Arivaca:
