I have a chance at a free mac 25. What is usable off of it for a 26S? The beam is almost the same so I'm hoping the stern rail will fit but other than that?
Sails? Boom? Mast? I'm not looking to sail the 25 again so would prolly strip it and dispose of it. Looking to get everything off of it I can.
Thanks!
J

yes, tough to tell much other than it looks like the mast and rigging is a good bit different so I suspect the mast won't be a good spare.
Thanks for the links tho

I don't know the 25 well, but I doubt the two have that much in common. If you could resell the 25, I would just do that and use the money to mod/repair your 26S. Of course, free usually means worthless, so that might not fly in your situation.
The key to inner peace is to admit you have a problem and leave it at that.
