When I relocated the tachometer below the wheel it gave me access to the bottom of the pedestal because the hole for the tach is big enough to put your arm in it.
So now to get to the bottom of the pedestal I go in through the tachometer. I reach in through the upper hatch to remove the screws holding in the tach. Then with the tach removed I reach into the pedestal to get to the bottom. I have removed the tach so many times now I have gotten pretty fast at it. I think I can get it out in ten minutes flat now.

Your pedestal is SO organized and clean looking.
It shows there was some real thought put into what was done.
