Well friends, while we all know there’s only “Tryin’ to reason with hurricane season” (J. Buffett). I just wanted to tell our friends & those who will be affected by our current 9/2018 Walloper, Hurricane Florence 2018: We’re with you in our thoughts & prayers. & we hope you keep out of harms way & recover speedily.

We have members all up & down our NE coast who may or are affected by this one & or may be effected by 1 of the other 3 hurricanes currently roving the Atlantic & who Knows what the future will bring this season or next, Regardless of Coast ...

I don’t care what anyone’s politics are, or global warming opinion is. As Captains with our eye to the weather, for the safety of our precious cargo... we need to stay vigilant & keep our “hands on the wheel”... (Downeaster Alexa).

If there’s anyway you can hear us - or feel our well wishes... We’re with you in spirit...
