... at Defender.com, $1249 and a 200$ debit card. $1049 and you're good.

Just pulled the trigger.

If you are going to do a tillerpilot on your wheel boats yes do Boat's version. It looks like he has fixed the Quick emergency disconnect issue with a tiller pilot on a wheel boat in a poor acessable location. I would not want to have an autopilot locked up on the helm and not be able to disconnect it in under 1 second and take over. I know on my TP22 tillerpilot it is a quick lift to pop it off the tiller and take over.

Dont worry give Donald a few more months and the Canadian $ will be back to par with the US$, I was reading that everything that has been promised and still not delivered has been factored into the current market already and the long term bond market is betting the US economy is going south, these guys play with much more money than we could imagine so if they bet its going south then its a pretty good bet it will.

This is not a political comment, just quoting from a economic artical I was reading yesterday (I know I need to get a life)

It's all about the interest rate. The Loonie is already taking a hit right this minute because of the Fed hike that is already built into the system - Yellen is going to go public with the hike next month and that will announce ANOTHER hike in the US interest rate. This will drive the Loonie and other currencies under the Dollar even more. I was in the Middle East last month and the Shekel was really getting slammed. I managed a great buy on a plane ticket to Istanbul way back 11 months ago that would cost me almost double today. I just looked at a ticket to Denmark - last summer it was a lot, but today is a great deal for me because the Krone has slipped all the way down to 7 Krones per dollar. Great time to go sailing with Danish people on an old Jeanneau Gin Fizz - a GREAT boat for sailing the North Sea or book a cruise on Holland America. I bet you could get quite a deal.

It's really all about what it cost's you to borrow a US dollar, not what it costs you to buy one, because no one actually buys US dollars anymore, they only borrow them because it leaves the liability of the currencies value on the backs of the US banks. Very few countries actually buy US treasuries anymore, they only borrow them. It's much smarter and much safer for them.

Of course, if Canada has a huge surge in it's economy, (which really could happen in 2017) then the Loonie will go way up in value and you will get more boat bucks for your Canada projects. I hope the Canada economy explodes because we need to shift more of the world economy back to North and South America - Otherwise - everything you want to buy will be based on China bucks and then you will really be screwed because China does not use the market to control exchange rates - the Chinese government sets the rate. Once they own all the asset in Canada and the US they can set the rate to whatever they want.

The RayMarine tiller pilot is made mostly in Hungary and Eastern Europe - not China, not US, and not Japan.
