She's been a great boat, but I now long for something longer. I'll probably have her another year or two before I can stomach the loss I'll take with a sale.

Ran across this old thread in an image search. Lots has happened in the last 5-6 years and 6-7 thousand dollars. Lots of daysails, a few overnight and weekend adventures, and a baby.

Very nice. Go for a V25, or 26D when the time comes. Still no "smilie" for the V25.

Very nice looking V22! If mine had looked half as good as that, I might never have sold her! Then again, we wouldn't be the owners of our 2005
today.....

Thanks Guys. Next boat will be something 26-27' with standing headroom. Oday 272 and S2 8.0 are top contenders right now. I'll probably keep her another season or two though unless a hull of a deal comes along.

The S2 7.9 is a fast boat. Has the same PHRF as a J24. Retractable dagger board, although you need a winch, 3 men and a donkey to raise it.TheJoe wrote:Thanks Guys. Sounds like an electric winch with appropriate limit switches would be nice to have.grady wrote:The S2 7.9 is a fast boat. Has the same PHRF as a J24. Retractable dagger board, although you need a winch, 3 men and a donkey to raise it.
