I'm not a shill for Judy, and I do recognize that her advertising helps support this site... but honestly... I've *never* heard of anyone who was not completely pleased with Judy's sail products.

Great video.
We have a one of her headsails. Good quality stuff. I think a new main will be under the Christmas tree this year.

Bought a new main from Judy several years ago. She learned what I wanted/needed, and provided it at a reasonable price.
She went out on our X in AZ to see how it handled with the old sail. Great lady.

Hmm now Judy can raise the price for her sails
Joking. Love the Genoa I bought from her. And her customer service is 5 stars. You can feel she loves what she does.

Re: Testing Judy B Sails
I always feel people with REAL passion for what they do are far better than those that just plod along and do things to make a buck.
I worked in IT for many years and saw all the young people come through with their eyes on the very large pay cheques being offered in the industry, alas none of them were really good at it because they lacked the real passion to take them to the next level, the only factor for them was their bank account.

No way.. You've got to get one of her new Cruising Code Zeros!!!
Then report back to us...
Watch the YouTube of her little Custom Potter kicking some big boat butt with a Code Zero and you'll be counting down the minutes until you can unwrap your CCZ Christmas morning

Re: Testing Judy B Sails
I also ordered and received a new Mainsail from Judy this summer.
+Positive
She goes out of her way to make sure that you order the kind of sail that would suit you. She will ask you questions to determine what type of sailing you like to do and what product would best suit your needs. So then the mainsail becomes exactly what you ordered and the material is top quality. Their customer service is first-rate.
-What I didn't know
My cost was around $1300 Can. If you want quality you have to pay for it.
The high-modulus Dacron is stronger but heavier than the cheaper sails and therefore harder for me to raise.
If you've never flaked a sail before, flaking is a challenge and even more so when the wind is blowing.
Old mains can be folded 100 times and put into a small duffel bag. New mains should not be folded at all but rather rolled up.
But if you are going to order any type of sail for one of our McGregors, she is the person to talk to.
