Actually those spiders are quite amazing. They seem aware of their surroundings in a way that we don't usually attribute to insects and things like that. Except Maybe a mantis.
The ones I saw would play hide and seek with a finger and didn't seem to have much fear. Best part, several of them can fit on a quarter so they are pretty small :)

This is what I have on my boat
Amarine-made 12v Marine Boat Stainless Steel Single Trumpet Horn, Low Tone, 16-1/8"
THis horn has a very loud deep tone it turns heads big time people think theirs a Freighter coming down on them :)

for security I have these Items installed on my Boat

below u can see the horn , search light, small solar panel for the camera

here is the 12v timer wired up & conected to my old samsung ph

the cell ph & charger plugged into the timer the timer is set to charge the cell ph bat 2hrs once a day the cell ph is made as the hot spot for the camera to link to if the camera is triggered it pings the cell ph while recording it has motion & infared sensors my old cell ph which is hidden out of sight will ping my cell ph & send me the recording I can at any time live view the boat & talk to anyone on board

Curious setup. All looks interesting.

Some components are self-explanatory.

What do you use the timer and the 12v extension for?

Also, how do you interface the horn?
