Its almost impossible to electrically isolate a Mac from the shore mains, unless you don't have a motor. Most every install Ive seen, the motor mount goes below the water line and this case is tied to ground

Came across this article in Sail magazine about installing shore power. One of the better-written of such articles, with nice graphics, and not so technical as to confuse someone not familiar with AC power installations, requirements, and safe (or code-compliant, at least) practices.
