Thanks for this information. The brand I purchased on Amazon (ArmorAll) had over 1,500 reviews with 4 3/4 stars prevailing. "Strong suction" dominated the comments. One person used it for spot carpet cleaning water removal.ris wrote:wasp18 you have to be careful on those small vacs cause some do not suck up much. We tried 4 different ones at lowes and the depot and just took a chance on the Shop Vac brand from Amazon. Hopefully yours will really suck. My wife likes it cause it is so light. You need ear plugs with ours as it is loud but does a great job.

Hi Rich and jill,
Won't be long now before you take off. Where are you planning to depart from? Will you be reporting on progress here? We'll want to track your progress. Hope you have a great trip.

After looking at your pictures one observation that I have is that you will want some window coverings. Since our Mac is in a slip I noticed that at night with the cabin lights on the boat is kind of like a fish bowl. Your admiral is going to want some privacy. If you ever want to sleep late you will want blinds on the two skylights (ceiling windows).

I ordered OceanAir CabinShades for the two skylights and will be installing them this weekend. I am hoping that this will keep the interior cooler under our hot Texas sun. I intend to install them port to starboard with the roller blind housing in the center rather than stern to bow as Knotshore did. I stole this idea from Boat since it looks good that way.
Other than that your boat looks amazing. I really like the bright open interior of your boat, as well as the more open transom.
I hope that you have a great adventure on your loop trip!
