I bought a Hyde 110 jib and Schaefer Snapfurl 500 furler from Judy B. who advertises and contributes here so I wanted to post some pictures.
There was a previous post here where Grady showed some of the fast classic Macs and it seems you often see these with large (Genoa) deck sweeping hank on jibs. My only racing is the type that always occurs when sailing so I compromised somewhat on the light wind performance to use just one sail that did better in the fairly light to higher wind range and picked a 110 furling sail. The smaller jib sails also generally do not "close the gap" so have a little better visibility without raising them which is another thing I wanted. Ive been using this sail now for the last month in Lake Havasu Arizona and after getting the lead placement ironed out, I am just pleased as can be.. Wonderfully designed sail and furler and I can tell that these are going to last a long time.
What I picked is a 110 jib for a furler, Challenge Hi Modulus Dacron 6.53 oz, white UV cover with the reefing luft pad. The furler is the Schaefer snapfurl 500.
A bunch of pictures are here http://analogengineering.com/sail/mac/110_jib.html

Since I am getting ready for new sails, I appreciated your post and all the pictures. Glad to hear Judy B was a good choice for you. Since I know so little about all of this, I am stuck between the price point of the BWY products and the knowledge base and dedication to this site that Judy B offers. I still have a lot of decisions to make. Thanks again for the pics. I really like the leverage arm you built (can't remember the name you called it).
