helo
i am new to this groupe
i had my macgregor 26x for 5 years
i sail with this boat in the mediterranean sea in lebanon
and i would like to ask for an autopilot
they offered me the sport pilot raymarine
but a lot of bad reviews about this autopilot
can i have an opinion about that ?

and about the last cobnversation
about the waves and the wind
i can say from my small experience because i am always sailing in big waves sea , so i can say that a macgregor can afford strong stable wind not gusty wind but he cant afford more than 1 meter waves especially on upwind postion because u will stay same place and the boat will be drifting more than moving forwad
in a broad reach position or downwind it is easier in high waves but still not good performance
so if u know the performance of ur boat u can make a passage plan before ur travel and this boat can lead u anywhere
i already made a passage of 3 days in open sea from lebanon to cyprus with this boat and things was good
