Tyrone Shoelaces. With some heavy-hitters playing and singing. After school, with Cheech and Chong (minus the pot - stuff made me nauseous, even just to be around it).

I don't really miss the 70's, but there certainly were some high points. :D

I used to use a shot from the helm of my last boat, looking forward, so it looked like I was piloting that bad boy. Mainly in the winter.

I think I have a shot sort of like that from when I got married, which was on a boat out of New Rochelle. We took an excursion around Manhattan, or at least down the East River to the Statue of Liberty. Once it got dark, I stopped paying attention. Had nothing to do with the booze or music or blushing bride in white, of course. :D I'd post a pic if I could find one, but I don't think the admiral would like it.

Oh, and I don't think she's ever blushed. Ever. :|

All apologies to Darry, but I liked his photo so much, I had to try and make a watercolor of it. I can only hope I did it some sort of justice.

Hello,
I'll recycle this one from a few years ago. I have lots of great ones from my travels in the San Juan Is.
This was a fortuitous iPhone pic sans any editing.

None of these are from my 26X, but they are still sunset pics. 10 of the 12 are in the Snohomish River mudflat basin (Everett/Marysville wa) taken from my 17' duckboat. One is Port Townsend and one eastern Washington ....

Most are wintertime ...... people miss many an opportunity of beauty just because it isn't 70 degrees out!
