Custom Inclinometer

Post by DHK79 »

Hey guys,

I've gotten a quote to have some Inclinometers custom made for use on Macs.
Image
Here are the specs:
Inclinometer: AXIS: single; DEGREE RANGE: ±26º in 2º increments; CASE:
Welded Polycarbonate; MARKINGS: white on black background.
COLOR ZONES:
Green = ±15º
Red = 15 to 26º (±) Note: This range selected as the nominal limits for best performance for the hull and not to indicate you are over too far.

The cost is $51 (US) + Postage & Handling (1st class postage from me to you). The minimum order for custom units is ten (10), so if you're interested comment on this thread for tracking and coordination purposes. If we get enough people interested, I'll be glad to handle the order and distribution.

Is that photo an example? It's not the prototype, right? Because the markings don't match the specs.

I think I paid less than ten bucks or mine form West marine or somewhere else and it goes to 45-50 degrees cause its bound to happen, intentionally or unintentionally

Does it have a range for "Whooooooaaah!" when the admiral starts to scream.

Correct. The photo is the stock model, without the custom markings.

Understood, but not what I'm primarily interested in. If it goes that far, you can be sure that the inclinometer will not be what I'm looking at. So I'd rather have a more accurate gauge for the lower end, although I am contemplating the use of a second high scale one mounted elsewhere.

LOL

So that's a marking for "oops", another one for "Whooooooaaah!", and one for "Oh wow" :D

Just for you yukonbob, I'd recommend a port & starboard pair of these:

You'll have to add your own color coding though. :D

What is the "point of no return" for a Mac anyhow? I'd guess somewhere between 110 and 130.
