Morse Command 200 Steering Controls
I have a 1999 Mac 26X with Morse Command 200 Tilt Steering System (part number 300252 helm). I have no idea on how thesteering is supposed to tilt, and can find nothing on line that explains how this works. I am also in the dark on the black nylon (?) brake screw at the bottom of the 90 degree bezel. It turns, but doesn't seem to do anything. Can anyone shed some light on how this steering system operates? I should also note that there is quite a bit of play in the wheel before the wheel actually engages in the steering mechanism. I would guess that the wheel turns about 3" in either direction before engaging. The boat steers ok, but I feel it could be better. Thanks !!

Re: Morse Command 200 Steering Controls
Please, post a picture. I am having trouble figuring out how you command a boat to tilt into a turn using Morse Code
