I know a guy here in San Diego who owns a blue-hulled MacGregor 26 and a laser cutting CNC shop. Shall I ask him if he'd like to cut some replacement plastics in 2D that will last forever?

Ok guys and gals What kind of replacement signs are we thinking? I can laser cut or router cut into a lot of things.

stainless steel with a fiber marking might last forever. I would like to use a thin piece of steel mounted to the original or a replacement plate could even do custom ones with your name here. My boat is in the water so any body got any measurements? I was going to take one off a buddies boat but chose not to since its so pretty and clean. I can also have more like the originals made i will look into pricing

My current plastic plate is intact and not very impressive. A SS plaque would make a classy replacement.

We make plates like those all the time Russ I will work on some designs. I need to visit this site more often. I think slightly smaller than the black plate will ad a nice border to the SS plate we are cutting tomorrow.

I think a nice script lettering would look nice, but maybe include the words Power Sailor in smaller lettering

The original plate in SS would be great. Come up with a prototype and I'm sure you will have plenty of takers. Again, my vote is for a NICE SS plate etched. I bet you could get at least 25 boats X2 plates from this website alone. Could market them to BWY who would sell them also.

I don't own a ship. My boat has lots of SS parts. It's 2014.


As for copyright. Roger doesn't sell boats anymore. If he has a problem with making his boats look better and wants to sue for it, that would make him look like a real ass hat.
