I just checked the bulbs in my OEM cabin lights, and they're Osram 5007L bulbs at 5W, with BA15S base. I got them at an autoparts store, once I realized they're automotive. Should be no trouble finding an LED equivalent.

I went with low wattage because the brighter ones I replaced were just TOO bright. Not so much when messing about inside the boat in the driveway, but turning one on at night, even a single LED is very bright. In fact, I use a single LED battery stick-up unit in the head, and that's plenty of light for the admiral in the middle of the night. :D

An ideal solution would be bright overhead lights, and very dim lights, plus red lights, but I've got much bigger fish to fry right now, so I just live with relatively dim overhead white lights.

Russ, did you say your cabin lights are BA9? Mine were BA15 when I ordered.

Is this a change we should be aware of?
