Hello:
Damn, I am one lucky guy. My wife loves to cook and it's gormet quality even on the boat. So I got to modify the galley with a propane stove and stainless sink. She loves to sail and be at the wheel, so I got to modify the steering to make it easier. We worked out a docking system that works well. The only time we get into trouble is when it's hard to hear each other (like when the Tohatsu is screaming) and we have to raise our voices. It sounds like yelling and we can "go off" if it's not handled correctly. I try to make her as comfy as possible and go places where she can get off the boat and shop for "cute" things.
OK that's done it, I have to get the boat out now.

I'm lucky. My wife went to Annapolis sailing school. She and the kids really wanted to buy a Gemini 105Mc (we chartered one) but I told her that we have too much going on with our investments so well have to settle for a monohaul at this time. We were very fortunate to find a nearly new, loaded 2001 26X last week. We are going tomorrow to close the deal, if all goes well.

Got a nice surprise from Admiral Catigale yesterday. We are planning some trips with friends of ours who have a keel boat in Newport RI (we both live up here in Albany NY) and she decided her and the other Admiral would take Catigale out, Admirals only
This bodes well. Im really happy the boat will get more use - and can only imagine a couple of hours with adults sans kids will do for her sanity
One of the breakthroughs is pointing out that the worst case scenario if they get stuck is to hail our marina on VHF and get a dustoff...
Smiling Catigale this morning.
