Our oldest daughter will be flying in from Bangkok on the 8th (she's a resident there) to stay with us and attend her kid sisters wedding later. Given that disappointment, we're still hoping to scoot up solo for a day and make a rendezvous and join everyone for an evening meal somewhere. That could still get scuttled if an offer on the house comes in, but we're keeping our fingers doubly crossed!
Soooo... it'd be good if an action plan materialized fairly soon.

Ross & Gabe I'm still waiting to find out if my youngest daughter & granddaughter r joining me for the wk-end of 11th -13th if not U r more than welcome to stay over night on my boat for a night or two can't remember how long it's been since I had a threesome ! only kidding I think ! PJ;s r not required tooth brushes r though
My slip was booked right after Beene's as they only had three left after that I beleive
Up-date , on my Engine re "sticking fuel injectors " I had put treatment in the fuel system over the winter to see if that would un-gum them well that did not work out ! so put a can of seafoam into the fuel tank removed spark plugs #1 cylinder inj. was firing OK #2 inj was stuck closed #3,4 inj. were stuck wide open worked the seafoam through the fuel system & after 3hrs got #4 inj freed up , so this morn I bit the bullet pulled out the 4 fuel inj. took them to a fuel injection shop to be cleaned got a call back today the inj. cleaned out OK & r ready to p/u wed morn charged me 85$ to clean them all , if that did not work I was looking @ new inj @ about 160$ a pop x 4 , so that worked out OK , so will change the eng. oil & filter, lower unit oil fri morn & install the fuel inj. & spark plugs & crank her up & report back then
Thanks for the offer John. We're going to have to play it by ear somewhat but if that pans out I'll make sure I bring up a spare pair of pajama bottoms for you...
Naked with a Sporran doesn't cut it! https://www.google.ca/search?q=sporran& ... 97&bih=552
Bottom right corner is the office
Ramp in around to the right of that
Not sure where the slips are yet but you can park anywhere and call or text us when enroute and we wil hook up
Fuel docks are on the right half way up
Along that right wall you will always see the Odin and Hunter equivalent of the Mac power sailor
Several Macs in that marina as well as along the wall coming into the City itself

If you're crossing at Buffalo, we've got your back for an over-nighter before heading further north. No snoring!
Details if required...

It looks like we're leaving early Thursday morning, as soon as I can get the dog into the kennel, with a 4-1/2 hour estimated travel time (no traffic, no trailer, border crossing time a big unknown as always).
Unfortunately, I may also have to leave on Sunday, as work commitments can't be overridden this time around, even with long notice. But we'll play that part by ear.
But thanks for the offer of quarter. Hope to see you there, even if you can't bring the boat.
Just spoke with the marina, as I needed to add Thursday night (no problem), and she told me where the transient docks are. Once you turn into the marina, heading NW, go to the wall and take a left heading SW. Slips are on the wall, with parking right at the slips for those bringing a car. Gas docks are where the little shed is on that same wall, a little to the right (NE) of the center, and I think the launch ramp is on that same wall, against the office, but I'm not sure about that. You can see the Travelift on the other side of the office building.
Me too just got my eng. fuel inj. cleaned 85$ as they were gummed up one closed, two wide open & causing my eng to run like crap & make oil big time , I installed them & resolved that issue , but now the eng is stumbling I am pretty sure its because the eng. is not running hot enough , sure enough took out the thermostat to check it & it does not close up all the way , ordered a new one 63$ should be in for Fri morn
So in the meantime trying to clean up the boat & finnish off some more mods cannot get my spreader lights done because of the weather 4 tornados in my area in 7 days & another big storm yesterday morn & today which is hindering some stuff I need to finnish off & or adj. but need the mast up first hopefully the weather is good this wk-end

Good to hear your engine is getting back in business. Keep your eye on that approaching Hurricane - we'll probably pick up some side weather before too long.
Blew like steam here the other day. The weather network didn't post a single high wind warning!
