For me, there is no such thing as an ugly boat...some just look better than others. Anything that can take me away for a weekend on the water...is a beautiful boat

Re: Hunter Edge 27 discontinued?
I do not think the Hunter Edge is not a good looking boat. I never said it was ugly or anything like that.
I think the Hunter Edge has a more modern look than the Mac M boat but I still like the look of the MAC M MORE because the double raccoon stripes are the same style that was used on big fast yachts of the 60's and70's . The MAC M has the sort of James Bond look, it's like the old Corvette stingray of the 70's.
I'm sort of into the retro look more than the modern look. Again, it's JUST ME, don't anyone get bent out of shape just because I have an opinion.
I think the 70's look is the best look for a TRAILER-ABLE sailboat because trailer able sailboats really started in the 70's and I think they harken back that whole era of the beginning of the trailer sailor era.
It's like the same way Travel Trailer aficionados prefer the retro look of the AIRSTREAM to the modern Travel Trailers of today. They feel the best age of the travels trailers was the 30's and 40's so they feel the BEST style of a travels trailer is in the style of the 30's and 40's (Howard Hughes aluminum airplanes).
I look at the Retro look of the MAC M boat in the same way - the 70's was the BEST era of the BEST trailer-able boats so therefore that's the BEST style for a trailer-able boat.
MY opinion.

Hey Boat,
Your employing a double negative. What are you trying to do, make us think
Just teasing

Re: Hunter Edge 27 discontinued?
Well, it seems that the boat is looking that way but how good it is is all depending on how the person is comparing but then but some people don't feels that way. Sooner or later though you decide that it's better than what you thought it was going to be so you just change your mind, or at least some people do.
But then again, some don't.

It looks like the thing they use in the lagoons around here to fight invasive species of plant life.
