That's very interesting - I did not know there was a difference in the Mac26M models. 8)

The only two M models I am aware of are the pre 2006 and after. Pre have the kitchen on the bulkhead beside the daggerboard trunk with a center-line table (i believe?), and then later has the sliding galley. No shower or difference in the head location that I was aware of.

I recommend the model that the dealer or previous owner installed the shower in :)

The change in :macm: models came in 2005. If Bertrand supplies a photo of his boat's beautiful interior, you will see the differences.

As to the shower head, that was an option from some dealers. I happen to have one in Nice Aft. I had a thirty gallon bladder installed in the bow, along with an electric pump to supply the sink and the shower head which was installed in the engine area. I have never taken long trips with the boat, so that shower has never been used, but it is there. Someday, maybe it will come in handy. If it is ever used for showering, there will be no privacy standing in the cockpit. So either we shower at night in a dark area, shower during the day in a secluded area, or don't give a d#m and shower wherever whenever :o

Ray

Here is a photo I just took of the shower location. Please excuse the filthy dirty boat. It is still under Winter wraps, and for Philadelphia, we have had a rough Winter. Second largest total snow accumulation in our history.

Hey Ray.....Option three seems to be popular around here 8) Maybe not in the marina.....but not going out the way either :) I figure it like this....If Someone is offended.....They don't have to look :!: But then there is that old problem of very few people will complain about Female nudity....but...will scream bloody murder if a guy washes up :? Oh well...whatever make You happy :D Ron.

The large head in the :macx: was nice! I probably miss that most of my old boat. That, and the anchor locker. Wish he could have put those in the "D" design. Oh well win some lose some... :|
